Your privacy is important to us. 24downloader is designed to work without collecting or storing any personally identifiable information. This policy explains what little data passes through our systems and how it is handled.

We do not collect, store, or share:

• Your name, email address, or account details (no account required)
• The video URLs you paste into our service
• Your download history
• Your IP address in any persistent log
• Cookies for tracking or advertising purposes

When you submit a URL for processing, our servers temporarily handle the following:

• The video URL — used solely to fetch and convert the media file. It is not logged after the job completes.
• The converted media file — stored in encrypted cloud object storage for a maximum of 1 hour, then automatically and permanently deleted.
• A job ID — a random identifier used to track conversion status. It contains no personal information and is discarded after job expiry.

Your download history (video titles, timestamps, and quality tags) is saved to your own browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

24downloader uses cloud infrastructure to process and temporarily store converted files. These providers process data under their own privacy policies. No data is sold or shared with advertisers.

If analytics or advertising scripts are active (configurable by the site operator), they are governed by the respective third-party privacy policies (e.g. Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel).

24downloader is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
